Stopped in to have a burger, but decided to go with the lobster bisque and a half chicken salad sandwich instead. I really wasn&#39;t impressed with either. My friend got a burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tables seemed sticky and overall the place just felt a bit dirty. I wouldn&#39;t make it a point to stop by when I&#39;m in town again, and if I ever go back, I will stick with the burgers.

In this Japanese-style roast meat shop, it is recommended to prosciutto , lotus roots, goat cheese salad, handmade hemp tofu, sous vide duck breast + scallion, three kinds of beef tongue, flavored cucumber strips, Short ribs, Inside skirts, outside skirts , Waygu New york steak. もつ pot beef/cow fat intestines/cow tongue plus full of cows and so on. In addition to various sauces, there is also a Japanese-style pasta.

The Hamburger Hamlet in my neighborhood was my go-to place in high school. The food was innovative and fun. But that was almost 40 years ago. My friend and I have visited this Hamlet twice and our overwhelming impression of it is that it is tired. That&#39;s sad, because it was a great chain. We started at the bar, waiting for the rest of our group. The &quot;imported&quot; happy hour beer was Shock Top, which, we informed the bartender, is a mid-west, domestic beer. When we closed out the beer tab, the bartender gave us an unitemized bill. We asked for the itemized version and she said they couldn&#39;t do that because it was happy hour (??). We insisted and she produced an itemized bill. That&#39;s just bizarre. Then we moved to the near-empty main dining room. The tiny fried onion rings are still the best, but the menu is about the same, and the quality of food has otherwise deteriorated. I got the broccoli-cheese soup, which was luke warm and grainy (indication of real cheese, but not appetizing). The Marilyn hamburger was okay. So, there are many other, much better places to get a burger, and that makes me sad. The Hamlet has not kept up.

We have visited HH in the past as family lives close by. The prices on the on-line menu were 50% less than when we arrived at restaurant. We had called in for take out. What a surprise to see a 50% increase in prices. Hamburgers were med rare and we ordered medium well. Will not return.
